MyGOAL is a not-for-profit organization that provides support and assistance to families    and individuals affected by or on the autism spectrum. MyGOAL is a partner with the Gem Project autism quilt program. MyGOAL is giving away a grant to four families affected by autism  and an award an outstanding autism advocate/ community leader. Deadline to Apply: August  1, 2012. If you’re not affected by autism but know an organization, teacher, school, person who is  impacted in anyway, please forward this information along.
 
Letter from the Executive Director of MyGOAL, Inc:
Dear  Friend,
The deadline to submit the 2012 Family Grant Application and to Nominate an Outstanding Professional of your choice for the 2012 Outstanding Autism Service Award is fast approaching.
The 2012 MyGOAL Family Grant Award Program is a $1000 need-based grant for treatments (including vitamins and other nutritional needs) that may not otherwise be covered privately or by other third-party funding sources such as school districts, county programs, Insurance, and/or other grant making entities. Four families will be selected out of qualified applicants.
The 2012 MyGOAL Outstanding Autism Service Award Program is established to acknowledge outstanding special education teachers, para-professionals or therapists (speech, occupational or physical therapy) in the instruction of Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Nominate someone who is deserving of this award.

 

Please send in your completed FAMILY GRANT application and AUTISM SERVICE AWARD Nomination postmarked by August 1, 2012. Additional Information may be found at www.mygoalautism.org.

 

Selected Individuals will be awarded at The Fourth Annual Autism Gala on September 29, 2012.
