For 20 years, The Gem Project has hired and trained young people in Newark and beyond to organize, research, testify, and lead the campaigns that change their schools, systems, and communities. We are not a place where young people are talked about. We are a place where they lead.

We are looking for people who believe the same thing we do: that the young person in front of you already holds the answers, and our job is to build the conditions for them to act.
