Call to Action Youth Rally: Youth Organizers [ ACT NOW]

Releasing (7) youth published issue briefs on structural racism and its impact within the Black community in midst of COVID-19, across three sectors that includes justice, education and health during a digital rally on 8/13/20 at 12 PM. During the rally youth organizers of The Gem Project will launch its virtual reality museum called Black Liberation and its exhibit titled, " Reimagining Black Liberation through Afrofuturism."

Our Issue Briefs

As high school and college fellows, we have developed issue briefs across 3 sectors: education, justice, and health. Exploring structural racism within the Black community across these sectors, we also examined the recent impact of COVID-19, through existing data.

Reimagining Black Liberation through Afrofuturism

Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM we will be hosting our digital rally titled, "Call to Action Youth Rally: Structural Racism Across Justice, Health, & Education." We will debut our issue briefs and launch our virtual museum featuring our youth-led curated art exhibit, "Reimagining Black Liberation through Afrofuturism."
