 We submitted our Gem Project Define Real Beauty campaign into a few upcoming conferences. May 12, 2012 at The New Jersey Institute of Technology, the NABFE are holding their first annual conference for young girls. We wish to pair our campaign with a comprehensive program about self-esteem. The campaign displays will be reserved on that date.
We also submitted our campaign to another conference for November 3, 2012 and will inform you on the new updates, if accepted.
 What did you do yesterday? Well, a few of us went to the founder’s home and had a potluck! No worries, it was also a scheduled meeting. Sacha is seen above displaying our “Gem Project” cake. Des Shawn’a (left) brought a tray of cookies, while Parul (right) brought a special Indian dish for us all to devour.
We had no choice to feel motivated when we saw this on our founder’s apartment wall when we first walked in (It‘s now our wall! we plan on palm painting and laying our mark at the next visit!):
Judging at FP YOUTHOUTCRY Foundation:

a judge for FP YOUTHOUTCRY Foundation’s fundraiser, “Men Who Coo k.” FP empowers the youth of Newark through entertainment, service, and various other programs. Ticket Info Call: 973-732-4690. We volunteered for them at their Thanksgiving community event in Newark, NJ last November.

A few months ago the founder was interviewed by CNN contributor and President of The Optimum Institute of Economic Empowerment, Ryan Mack –at Loft 47, a restaurant in Newark, NJ. She joined other small businesses, based in Newark, to give one valuable tip on camera.
